 Call of duty - Black Ops

The campaign is very straightforward in the game, if I find anything worthy of being mentioned here from the campaign I will say. The main tricks come from the main screen and the zombie minigames.

When you first turn on Black Ops there will be the “Press Start” screen. Continue on to the menu on the television. You are actually playing as the main character in this screen. Use the right analog stick to look around. You are strapped into a chair with two belts. Now, hit Right trigger and then left trigger. Repeat this several times quickly. You will break out of the chair. You will gain an achievement and be able to walk around the room you are in. Near the back of the room in the right corner there is a computer. You can press X (I assume square if you use a playstation) to sit at it. There will be a keyboard that you can use with the A (Possibly X) button and the left analog stick. Here are some codes you can type in, each do something different.

DOA - Unlocks Dead Ops arcade. It is a zombie minigame. Use the right stick to shoot and the left stick to move. Left trigger will call in a tactical bomb. The start screen contains other controls.
Zork- Unlocks a text based roleplaying game.
3arc unlock- Unlocks all zombie maps and campaign mission. Very powerful code.

I assume there are other codes to be found.

Black Ops features an entire Zombie setting, rather than just one level given to us in World at War. In this one players have to activate the power to unlock certain machines. Like most of the game aim and reaction time are two very important factors in victory against the undead horde but strategy comes into play more than ever in this part of the game. The first map, “Kin der Toten”,  has 8 doors to be unlocked ranging from 750 to 1250 points to open. Each room contains a different weapons that also must be purchased with points. Points are gained from killing zombies and rebuilding barriers. Here are some of my strategies I used in this level.
In the first round zombies can take 5 rounds in the chest from a handgun or 1 melee attack from a knife. This is one of the most important rounds. Be sure to shoot zombies at least 5 times and melee them once. This will give you 180 points per zombie. I normally do not take a gun from the first room either. Let them tear down a few barriers so you can rebuild them for extra points. At the end of each round there will be a final zombie. Killing him will start the next round and spawn a new horde. This zombie is called the transition. It is wise to keep the transition alive while you rebuild barriers and they are especially useful when moving rooms. After you have 3,000 points or it is the end of round three it is time to move. Avoid the second room on either way you decide to go. Either go outside or the room with the staircase. Leaving a transition up while you move will allow you to move in peace, rather than fight off the horde while you go.
Outside there will be an AK47 available on the right side of the building. It is wise to get this if you don’t already have a gun. On the inside (the staircase room) there is a chance a random weapon chest will be there. For 950 points you can get a random weapon. This is the most powerful item on this map for it can award very powerful weapons. It is wise to arm yourself with two guns from this chest. If you don’t like you gun do not be afraid to try your luck again. In this room zombies will come from windows and the door you entered the room from. It is probably a good idea to stay in the doorway to the next room if you have a rapid fire gun with a long clip. If you don’t make them come for you and then herd them around the stairways while you shoot them.
Outside zombies come from 3 different directions, making them hard to control. They come from inside, the gate near the stairs, and drop from a roof in the alley. This also makes it difficult becuase the roof zombies will come instantly and there is no barrier you can build to stop them. Get out of this area as soon as you can.
The next area over from the stairway room is a dressing room with a hole in the roof. They will come from here instantly and there is no barrier to keep them away. You need to get to the stage area (next room) as soon as you can. The only perk to being here is the chance for the random weapon crate to be here. Like I said before, that is the most powerful tool in this game.
The next room from outside has not been tested much by me. I have not seen and good weapons in this room and they come from many different directions. It’s probably also a bad idea to stay in this room. Progress to the stage as soon as possible.
On the stage there is a switch that will turn on the electricity. The round that you do this crawling zombies will start coming at you. They explode on death and release a gas that hurts your vision. They are pretty easy to kill this round but may go undetected due to their size. With the electricity on several things happen. You can now use traps and machines (Like the ones found in the first room and outside). Also, a door at the end of the stage room will open. This is a direct path to the first room.
At the 5th-8th round demons will come. They can hit you more times than zombies and are easy to kill. They also explode on death though. By this point many  zombies will be coming for you. They will be quicker and tougher than before. Now that you have a full circit (or half) up you can herd them. Get them to come at you from the same direction and run around your circut while killing them. This can be dangerous, as some may be in your way on the circut. It is a good idea as reloading can be completely safely.
The pentagon map has not been tested enough to be written about in detail. The only tips I have to give you is break out the glass to doors and windows in the first round. Then rebuild the glass so you can shoot them from a distance without destroying your own barrier. There is a table in the center of the room that can be used to herding in the first round. Remember to build points with your handgun and knife in the first round. There will be multiple elevators you can use throughout the map. Using the second elevator in the war room will cause crawlers to spawn.
